Loading the paper roll onto the machine
Such a large roll can produce approximately 4,700 B5-sized campus notebooks!
The paper roll is wound into the machine at breakneck speed and printed.
KOKUYO's standard is to ensure that the lines on both sides are aligned perfectly within 1mm.
To ensure that the lines on both sides are aligned perfectly,
we have made countless adjustments to the machine.
Two-fold
After the lines are printed, the paper is folded in half.
The inner pages of this booklet are not bound individually,
but are folded in half to form two pages.
The folded inner pages are sorted into bundles according to the specified number of pages.
You can see that the inner pages now form three long books connected vertically.
Adding the front and back covers
After printing and folding,
the inner pages and the pre-prepared front and back covers are inserted into the front and back sides and glued together.
However, at this stage, the three books are still connected.
Finally, we reach the crucial step in making campus notebooks: the "glue reinforcement" process. This is Kokuyo's unique glue binding technique, replacing string binding. After drying on a long conveyor belt, the notebooks enter the next production process.
Packaging and Completion
They are bundled into the minimum number of packages,
and then stacked into cartons.
Next, they begin their journey to stationery stores nationwide.
Of course, their journey ends in the hands of our students.
